Queensland Road Surfaces supports Little Leagies
Queensland Road Surfaces has thrown support behind the launch of Little Leagies by becoming the startup’s inaugural sponsor.
Established in 1988, Queensland Road Surfaces evolved from humble beginnings through booms and busts to become a contract layer for multinational asphalt producers.
The Gold Coast based company has grown from 7 to 22 employees and has completed major works for councils, the Banora Point bypass, the Gateway Bridge extension, M1 upgrades and the reseals of Brisbane and Gold Coast airports.
CEO Stephen Hendricks is a lifelong rugby league supporter and has always believed in giving back to the community through many charities and organisations. Stephen is elated to add Little Leagies to this list.
“The chance to become involved with Little Leagies was a no brainer. I’ve always admired the character of Luke, Scott and Ashley and the contribution they have made to their respective rugby league communities,” said CEO Stephen Hendricks.
“We have many staff with children that are, or have been, involved in sport. To see Little Leagies getting more kids involved is sensational, and works towards better communities and society.”
With the support of Queensland Road Surfaces, Little Leagies kicks off on March 8 at King’s Christian College. For more information visit www.littleleagies.com.au.
