Scott Prince

Raised in Mount Isa, Scott started playing rugby league at the age of five for Towns Lions in Mt Isa. Scott commenced his professional rugby league career as an 18 year old for the North Queensland Cowboys and was just the 18th player in history to play 300 NRL games.

Following his retirement from professional rugby league Scott is a national touch football representative. Scott works for the Brisbane Broncos in a community development role.

Scott is a father of two girls that also play touch football.


Scott is a certified NRL Modified Games Coach.

Luke O’Dwyer

Raised in the northern NSW town of Tweed Heads, Luke commenced playing rugby league at the age of five for the Tweed Heads Seagulls. Luke commenced his professional rugby league career at the age of 21 for the Parramatta Eels before returning home to the Gold Coast as a foundation player for the Gold Coast Titans. Luke played 127 NRL games before retiring at the end of the 2013 season.

Off the field, Luke is a father of three boys. In addition to his role as a Director of Little Leagies Luke is the General Manager at PhoneAFlight and is a member of the Board of Advice for the Griffith University Institute of Glycomics.

Luke is a certified NRL Modified Games Coach.

Ashley Harrison

Raised in Brisbane, Ashley commenced rugby league at the age of six for Norths Devils in Aspley. Ashley was an Australian Schoolboys representative in 1998 and earned his first professional rugby league contract with the Brisbane Broncos in 2000. Ashley played 276 NRL games for four clubs before retiring in 2014.

Off the field, Ashley is a father of two boys. In addition to his role as a Director of Little Leagies Ash is a Financial Advisor for MBA Wealth.

Ash is a certified NRL Modified Games Coach.

At Little Leagies we take pride in the quality delivery of our classes.

We hand-pick coaches that combine experience either playing or coaching rugby league and are experienced working with children. All Little Leagies coaches hold a current Working with Children Blue Card and have completed or are completing the Modified Games Coaching Course. Our current roster of coaches includes:

Coach Vienna

Coach Vienna joined Little Leagies in 2016 and is a lead coach of our programs on the Gold Coast.

Coach Vienna is currently studying a Bachelor of Exercise Science at Griffith University. Coach Vienna holds an Australian Institute of Personal Trainers qualification with a Certificate 3 and 4 in fitness, holds a First Aid Certificate as well as a Working with Children Blue Card. Coach Vienna is a Modified Games Coach (in training).

In addition to her experience working with children as a Little Leagies Coach Vienna has worked with children in her role as a vacation care child educator at Bishop Druitt College.





Coach Jack

Coach Jack joined Little Leagies as an Assistant Coach on the Gold Coast in 2017. Coach Jack is a member of the 2017 Gold Coast Titans NYC squad and has played rugby league for over ten years.

Coach Jack was a college leader at Bishop Druitt College and was the Group 2 Gladiators Rugby League Captain, the East Coast Dolphins Rugby League Captain and the NSW Tim Mannah Shield Captain in 2015 & 2016.

Coach Jack is a Modified Games Coach (in training) and is studying a Bachelor of Business & International Business at Griffith University. Coach Jack has a Working with Children Blue Card.

When not training, playing, studying or coaching Coach Jack enjoys surfing, snorkelling and fishing.




Coach Beau

Coach Beau joined Little Leagies in 2017 to support the delivery of our Gold Coast programs.

Coach Beau is a Bachelor of Exercise Science graduate and has been involved in rugby league for a number of years. He played junior rugby league through all ages and also refereed junior games.

Coach Beau has an extensive sporting background having competed for a number of years at state and national level as a junior athlete, as well as experience coaching junior squads.

Cairns Coaches

Coach Jess

Coach Jess is the lead Coach in Cairns. Coach Jess combines a life long passion for sport with over 11 years of child care experience as an educator and director.

Coach Jess has played touch football for over fourteen years and has competed at local and regional championship levels. Coach Jess has volunteered and coached junior teams and recently completed her Certificate 3 in Fitness.

Coach Jess adds motherhood to her realm of experience, she’s a Mum of two young boys.

“I’ve always provided the highest quality care to children and families and maintained a strong passion for helping kids live healthy, develop and grow to their full potential.”


Coach Jonnie

Coach Jonnie has a wealth of experience, coaching rugby league for many years in many different age groups from U6 to U15 as well as junior representative sides.

Coach Jonnie is the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach for the Northern Pride. In this role he oversees three teams. He is a level 1 sports trainer and league safe.

“I love rugby league and want to see more kids playing the game in a fun and friendly way, learning the skills in such a way as they don’t know they are learning just laughing with their friends.”


Kyogle Coaches

Coach Tara

Coach Tara is the lead coach of the Little Leagies program in Kyogle. Coach Tara is a qualified early childhood educator with over ten years of experience and is also an experienced junior rugby league coach. Coach Tara is first aid qualified, has certification to work with children and is a Modified Games Coach (in training).

“I am incredibly passionate about women in league and promoting our game in a healthy and positive environment that enables children to learn and feel supported and encouraged.”


Coach Yaz

Coach Yaz was integral in bringing Little Leagies to Kyogle. Coach Yaz combines a passion for rugby league with coaching qualifications and experience with children.
