Are classes held indoors or outdoors?
We host classes at both indoor and outdoor venues.
What do I need to bring for my child to Little Leagies classes?
Indoor classes – a water bottle
Outdoor classes – a water bottle, hat and sun cream should be applied 15 minutes prior to the class commencing.
What should my child wear to each class?
Each child should wear their Little Leagies uniform if they have one, alternatively they should wear comfortable clothing.
If your child has a Little Leagies jersey we recommend wearing black shorts with the jersey.
All children should wear supportive running shoes/joggers (not football boots).
Children participating in outdoor classes should wear a hat.
As a parent do I participate in the class?
It is not unusual for our new and younger Leagies to require parent support so please be prepared to provide support and co-participate with your child if he or she requires it.
We do encourage our Middle and Pre Junior Leagies to participate independently.
Can I enrol my child in casual classes rather than the whole block?
No. Little Leagies classes are ran in block mode. This is to ensure adequate skill development and interaction between the children and the coaches over the block.
Can I enrol my child in a block after the block has already commenced?
This will be subject to availability. Little Leagies may allow for a child to enrol in block after it has already commenced only if there is space in the block. The child would only be required to pay for the number of remaining classes in the block. To request to join a program after it has commenced please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org.
What if my child is sick and unable to attend a class?
Please let us know as soon as able via e-mail. Subject to availability we will offer a make up class if you request one.
Can I enrol my child now for future blocks?
Yes. You may enrol your child at any time for future blocks though payment will be required at time of registration. Spaces in Little Leagies classes will be capped with demand for classes expected to outweigh supply until we expand our class offering.
My child is very small for his or her age. Is there flexibility for my child to remain in the younger age group?
Yes. Little Leagies acknowledges that there can be vast differences in physical development between children of the same age. Little Leagies will assess each individual child at the request of the parent or guardian to ensure he or she is enrolled in the most appropriate class.
Can my child participate up an age group?
Participating up an age group is not recommended. If you wish for your child to participate up an age group please submit a request to us via email@example.com detailing the reasons why you’d like your child to participate up an age group. All requests will be considered. The outcome of requests will be subject to various factors and the decision is at the discretion of Little Leagies.
Can my child trial a class before committing to a full term program?
We do not offer free trials during our regular term programs.
Children can trial our program for free via an Open Session which we generally host between terms at most delivery venues. Alternatively, you can request to purchase a single class trial pass which will enable your child to participate in a single regular term class. Single class trial passes are subject to availability. I purchased merchandise, when will I receive it?
South East Queensland – if the merchandise was in stock at time of order and payment cleared within 24 hours of the class you are attending you will receive the item at that class. If an item was on backorder it will be issued at the first class after it is back in stock. If payment did not clear within 24 hours of the class the items will be issued at the class the following week.
All other regions – merchandise is dispatched from our Gold Coast headquarters weekly on a Monday. If the merchandise was in stock at time of order and payment cleared by Monday you will receive items at the first class. If an item was on back order it will be issued at the first class after it is back in stock. If payment did not clear by Monday the items will be issued at the class the following week.
